Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation Policy

* Cancellation charges cover administrative costs, engineering work, and any committed procurement.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate payment: If you were charged twice for the same order, the duplicate charge will be fully refunded within 5–7 business days.
  • Order cancellation: As per the cancellation table above.
  • Service not delivered: If Wemega is unable to complete the installation due to reasons entirely within our control, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
  • Defective product: If a product is found to be defective before installation, it will be replaced at no cost. No cash refund for installed equipment — warranty claims apply.

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Free site survey and consulting services (no charge collected).
  • Subsidy application assistance fees (where applicable) — if the subsidy application is rejected by the government authority.
  • Custom-fabricated mounting structures ordered to specific roof dimensions.
  • AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) fees once the service period has commenced.
  • Any government-collected fees, taxes, or DISCOM charges.

4. Refund Process

To initiate a refund or cancellation:

  1. Email us at support@wemega.in with your Order ID, name, and reason for refund/cancellation.
  2. Our team reviews your request within 2–3 business days and confirms eligibility.
  3. Refund is processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method (bank transfer, UPI, or credit/debit card).

You will receive a confirmation email with the refund reference number once processed.

5. Warranty Claims vs. Refunds

After installation and commissioning, performance issues are handled through our warranty and AMC program — not through refunds. If your system is underperforming due to a defective component, we will replace the component within the warranty period at no cost. Wemega's workmanship warranty covers any structural or wiring issues for 5 years post-installation.

6. Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure (natural disaster, government policy change, pandemic, war, or other extraordinary circumstances) that prevents Wemega from completing the installation, we will offer the Customer the choice of:
  • A rescheduled installation at the earliest possible date; or
  • A full refund of amounts paid, minus any non-recoverable costs (materials procured, permits obtained).
